When a family invites me to document their birth journey, what they really want is to delegate the responsibility of their memories to a trusted and creative professional that understands the importance of even the smallest details of their day. Their birth story is an extension of their love story unfolding
With camera in hand, I come in grounded and attentive to my surroundings - always looking to the laboring mother and birth team as a guide to which phase of labor mom is at before even taking a photo. While I'm there to document her birth, my goal is to not be a disruption to the flow and progression of labor.
